The Rock'en Ray song, Through Love There's A Way, is about all my relationships that have come and gone over the years. My friends always said I was too optimistic, but I didn't care. I was always looking towards the future with a simple plan. I was determined to find my one true love. The song is a reflection of who I am as a person as well as a musician.

From flowers to candy, to romantic poetry and heart felt love songs - I tried it all only to end up with a broken heart. We've all been there. We've all seen the romantic movies where the guy wins the heart of his true love and they live happy ever after. In real life it doesn't work that way. I found out the hard way that winning someone's heart is fairly easy - keeping it is the hard part.

Through Love There's A Way is about taking a look at what you have, were you are going and knowing if someone loves you - that person is special. The original chorus line was "It's okay, I'll walk away..." However, I changed it to embarked on the idea, if you love something - set it free. If it comes back, you will be together forever. If not, then it wasn't mean to be. Thus, through love there's a way. Meaning if the person returns, it's because of love. Where there is love - there is a way!

I know a lot of couples from my youth who grew up, got married and are still together today. I dedicate this song to all those who stick it out and make a relationship work.
